This easy to make Gluten-Free pancake is made with wholegrain oats instead of usual white flour and is packed with lot of goodness. You will be surprised how delicious they are and your whole family will love it including fussy kids! 

Makes around 8-10 medium size pancakes. Serves 2-3
Preparation & Cooking time: 15 min

Ingredients:

  • Wholegrain Oats- 150gm
  • Butter- 25gm
  • Brown Sugar- 1tsp
  • Medium Egg- 1
  • Plain Yoghurt- 2 dollops
  • Milk- a dash
  • Baking Powder- 1tsp
  • Salt- pinch
  • Cinnamon Extract- 1tsp

Method:

  • Melt butter and whisk it with sugar & eggs
  • Grind the oats in a blender to make it into fine flour 
  • Add oat flour to the melted butter mix
  • Add rest of the ingredients to form a smooth batter (similar to a cake batter)
  • If the batter is too thick, add a bit of milk
  • Toss the pancakes in medium-high heat
  • Serve with choice of fruits, cream, yoghurt, honey...
  • Sprinkle cinnamon extract on the top for an extra boost

ETTALINE- we’ve never used oat bran but you can try it as in theory it should work. Enjoy!
