Energy-Boosting Breakfast Bowl Recipe
Preparation time: 10-15 min
Serves: 4-6
Ingredients:
- Base: 1 cup of Greek style yoghurt, 1 tablespoon chia seeds.
- Top up: 2 Cups of Greek style yoghurt.
- Fresh Fruits Or Nuts (Optional): Berries (blueberries, strawberries, raspberries), banana slices, fresh figs, pomegranate seeds, walnuts, almonds
- Sweeteners: A dash of Honey or maple syrup
- Extract: 1/2 tsp of 7 Spice extract
Method:
- Prepare the Base: Soak chia seeds in Greek style yoghurt a night before.
- In the morning: Add chia mix in a bowl and add Greek style yoghurt on top.
- Add Fruits or nuts: Top up with the fruits you have in your fridge like a mix of berries, banana slices, fresh figs, pomegranate seeds and nuts for vitamins and antioxidants.
- Sweeten and Spice: Drizzle with honey or maple syrup and add 7 Spice extract to enhance the flavour and energy boosting properties.
- Garnish it with fresh mint leaves.
